A Service of Unity and Prayer

← All news

On Sunday our church had a special chance to serve alongside another congregation — we were guests at a multinational church and took part in a joint worship service. The choir of the Ukrainian Church praised God in song, and missionary Chris Ammons preached. We prayed together for peace, healing, and suffering nations.

What made it especially moving was that the service was held in four languages — Ukrainian, English, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. We prayed for peace in Ukraine, for restoration in Haiti, for wars to end everywhere, and for God's peace to fill the earth.

This service was a reminder that the Church of Christ is one, regardless of language, culture, or nation. “One Lord, one faith, one baptism…” (Eph. 4:5)
